Road Trip Research

What would a road trip across America be like? What are the components of environmental habitats? Students at South Elementary have been working on research projects to discover these facts. Third and fourth graders chose a state, and second graders studied habitats across America. In Miss Underwood's computer class, students utilized online research tools to collect information. They created a digital presentation using Google Slides and presented about their state. In Mrs. Harkins' library, students used both books and an online resource to write about their topic. Mrs. Harkins says, "We had a blast reading, writing, and using technology to learn about new topics." What a great end-of-year project to show off skills learned all year!
